Jen Schneider is a writer, director, and cinematographer whose visual work has screened at such venues as Cannes, Sundance, and Cameraimage. A longtime member of the International Camera Guild Local 600, she was honored with their “Emerging Cinematographer Award” in 2017. As writer-director, Jen was a fellow at the 2018 Points North Forum and was selected to pitch her work at the 2019 Hot Docs Forum. In 2020, her work as both a writer-director and director of photography featured in the PBS program NOVA: “Can We Cool The Planet?” Most recently, her cinematography can be seen on the IMDb original docu-series, “Bug Out” about the underground world of exotic bug collecting. Jen is a member of the Writers Guild of America, the ICG, and the International Collective of Female Cinematographers.
